Day Camping!

Ryder and Daddy had a very special day... a camping day! They packed up all the gear, headed out to a favorite camp spot, set up the tent, built a fire, cooked hot dogs over the flames, made s'mores, went exploring, and all sorts of other camping stuff. (Except they came home for dinner and bed.) 

Of course, Barlow got to join the boys camping day too. What great bonding time!

Ok, Ryder... this was practice. Next time, real camping... all day and over night! Here comes summer!

Ryder's 4th Birthday Party

It's finally here!! The day to celebrate Ryder's 4th birthday! It feels like we have been talking about this day since he wrapped up his 3rd birthday.

Ryder picked to have his party at the gymnastics center. And Sierra picked for him to have a Thomas the Train cupcake cake.

It looks like the kids all had a great time!

The birthday boy was all smiles...

 ... and loved being the center of attention for the day.

Meanwhile, Sierra had a great time practicing her big girl gymnastics moves...

... and practicing her strength skills. 

Lots of family were able to join the fun. Grandpa Eli, Cindy, Uncle Ari, Aunt Amanda, Cousin Hank, and Mila and Tocik were all there to play!

The party ended with cupcakes, smiles, and...

... and fun!

Eliza's 4th Birthday

Ryder and Mommy joined some friends at a park in Boulder to celebrate Eliza's 4th birthday. And Rosie the Tree Fairy was there to entertain!

After a great (and funny) show, the kids were ready for some singing and cupcake eating.

And of course, no party would be complete without some face painting magic. Ryder wanted to be a monster... silly guy!

Happy birthday, Eliza! Fun to think you and Ryder will always be connected by birthdays.

Big Boy Beds!

Our little man is growing up, and finally moved out of a crib and into a big boy bed! Check out his cool, race car bed at Daddy's house... the headlights even turn on as night lights!

It also comes with a cool dresser and toy box, race car style.

And Ryder's new big boy bed at Mommy's house is a bit more traditional... but still fun for reading books together with his sister.

Grow, Ryder, grow!

Park Pals!

The Greenberg Family (Uncle Ari, Aunt Amanda, Cousin Hank) came over today for some fun in the sun! We hit up the local park for some scooting, biking, climbing, and picnicking and more.

Clearly no one was having any fun. :) And once back home, it was bath time for the boys.

The Daddy-Daughter Dance

What a special night! This evening was the big Daddy-Daughter Dance for Sierra and her Superior friends. Daddy and Sierra were all dressed up and ready to party!

Our beautiful little girl is growing up so fast.

Of course, no date would be complete without a nice dinner first. Tonight's choice - sushi!

Sierra had fun with the chop sticks and the different types of food. Playing with the food seemed to be more fun than eating it.

At the dance, Sierra spent much of the night with Rosemary... friends forever!

And here is the lay of the land. A great event, with lots of fun friends and fathers. And lots of dancing!

What a wonderful, special bonding experience for Sierra and Daddy! Until next year.

Guess who came for a visit?? Gpa Eli, Cindy and even Teddy! We all had a yummy dinner and enjoyed fun play time in the spring sun.

Eldorable!

It's closing weekend at Eldora, so the Nederland gang got together for some fun in the sun, and to celebrate Ande's 8th birthday. Sierra was SO happy to be back with her 'crew'.

Sierra's girl scout troop collected extra cookies to donate... and they chose to give all of these boxes of delicious girl scout cookies to the Children's Hospital.

All About Ryder

While Sierra and Mommy were in California, Daddy and Ryder had some great boy bonding time.

Barlow was of course included in boys weekend. Ryder was a great dog walker!
