2nd Annual Family Camping Party

Lots of good friends, great weather, tons of fun things to do and nature all in one place! Last night was the 2nd annual summer Family Camping Party, again at Gordon's Gulch right outside of Ned.

Here's a small glimpse at some of the kids that were there. Like last year, we took a big group photo on a camera with a timer (so everyone could be in it) and we'll be sure to post that when we get it. This shows some of the set up taking place...

Ryder made his camping party debut and did great. He's already an outdoor enthusiast!

After dinner, the kids gathered around to...

... take a whack at a pinata! Sierra's really getting the hang of it.

And as if the candy from the pinata wasn't enough sugar, we then all shared a big cake!

With so much energy, there was nothing to do but run around, hike, play and of course... love on all the awesome mountain dogs!

The evening ended with us roasting marshmellows over a warm campfire and eating s'mores.

The Matz Family Farm left after the bonfire to go home for bed. Ryder's a bit too little for now, but just wait until next year! Thanks Pat and Jenny, for this wonderful tradition.
