The Enchanted Forest

This afternoon was Wild Bear's annual Enchanted Forest. It was magical and Sierra had so much fun!

Of course she first had to meet up with the girls... Kenzie, Emma and Skylar:

Emma and Sierra sat together on the bus ride into the forest:

And they were so excited when they first arrived that they could hardly contain themselves:

After some romping around, it was time to begin the hike into to the forest. Along the way, the kids find stations with indigenous 'animals' who share fun facts. Sierra, Emma, Kenzie, Ben and Trevor were ready to go!

First up, a tree! Smokey the Bear was with him too...

We also saw a crayfish, and here's a lizard giving the kids a nature based coloring book:

Sierra and friends listening to a bat:

At one station, the kids got to pick masks and pretend to be various animals. Kenzie was a bear and Sierra was a fox:

The last animal we saw on our hike was a bobcat:

There was a wonderful marimba band playing in the main area, and the girls loved getting their groove on. Check out their dance party:

After some relaxing by the bonfire, Sierra headed to the Arts and Crafts tent and decorated this great stick wand. It's got ribbons, stickers, pipe cleaners and all sorts of fun... and to her it has special powers.

Such a great day! Sierra's favorite part was riding the big yellow school bus. We'll be back again next year!
