Who's a Big Boy?

Ryder Hale Matz!

Big guy hit a bunch of new milestones lately... here's what's going on with Ryder:

• He can now sit up on his own, with the occassional face-plant
• He is a rolling machine, rolling back and forth and all over the place
• He is beginning to 'army crawl', dragging himself around in circles
• He can pick up finger foods and get them into his mouth, most of the time
• More often than not, he can find his binkie in his crib and put it in his mouth - funny, considering he was never interested in the binkie until he could do it himself - ah, independence!
• He loves books, and prefers them to most toys
• He can say Mama and other fun sounds
• He can sign the words for 'bottle' and 'up'
• He is just transitioning from 3 naps a day, to 2 naps
• He has 3 teeth - 2 on bottom, 1 on top
• His favorite foods are avocado, squash, apples, noodles, sweet potato and rice cereal
• He loves kisses and has a hearty belly laugh
• He idolizes his big sister!
