It was very casual... we went through the main blessings for the candles, children, wine and bread. Then we all had a picnic dinner.
It's great for Sierra and Ryder to learn about these traditions.
Sierra even made a new big-boy friend, Ben.
Our community hopes to keep this going on our own once a month. There are a surprising number of Jewish families tucked up in the mountains.
