It's Tradition!

For the sixth year in a row, Mommy and the kids went with Wendy and Cole to the Gilpin Holiday Fair. Come sun and snow, we have always kept this tradition.

There were all the usual activities. Sierra immediately wanted her face painted, and chose a butterfly and flower design.

Ryder got in on the action too, with a shooting star. He wouldn't really sit still very long.

We asked Cole and Sierra to strike a pose in front of the tree, and here is what we got... supermodels in the making?

Ryder found a great play zone, just his size!

Then the kids made ceramic handprints... it's amazing to see how much Sierra's hand has grown over the six years.

This was Ryder's first year.

After painting the handprints, we were off to decorate cookies! Sierra made a pink star.

Ryder wasn't so interested in the decorating, but he sure did love chomping on his purple star.
Sierra and Cole finished out with some chocolate fondue.... can you say YUM?!?!

What a great day. We love this tradition!
