The kids were great travellers, and Ryder was so excited to go on his first airplane ride.
The vacation was all about the water! On Wednesday, Grandpa showed Sierra and Ryder around the community pool, and Sierra is becoming as comfortable as a fish. 
It felt great to introduce Ryder to the pool... his first swimming experience shared with Mommy and Sierra!
In the afternoon, we took the kids to a foam playspace. Ryder climed through the log...
While Sierra couldn't avoid getting chomped by the alligator!
Then we checked out the turtle pond with Cindy.
And the kids finished the afternoon off by sharing an ice cream cone.
And then something magical happened the next day... Sierra lost her first tooth!!!
The tooth fairy visited her that night, taking the tooth and leaving a fun present. Sierra was amazed, and even claimed to have seen the tooth fairy flying around her room at night.On Friday, while Ryder was recovering from being sick, Sierra and Mommy went back to the community pool. Sierra was showing off her best surfing moves.
Meanwhile, back at the house Cindy played with Ryder and miraculously got him to eat!
The afternoon wrapped up with some more swimming in the house pool, and then some snuggle time on the couch with Teddy.
Saturday morning kicked off with a visit to the local dog park... Ryder was feeling much better and was ready to show off his style.
Sierra ran around and introduced herself to every dog she saw!
We then walked to the nearby park (which was huge and amazing!) for some play time. Sierra and Ryder drove the firetruck together.
And Sierra went swinging...
So of course Ryder had to go too!
And before we got on the plane home Saturday evening, Sierra took one more dip in Grandpa and Cindy's pool.
