Today is Ryder's 2 1/2 year birthday... and it's also National Preemie Awareness Day! From 2 pounds to 30 pounds... we love you little miracle!
Here are some updates on what is going on with our little man:- Sierra thought Ryder was saying 'Dude' when asked how old he is (he was saying 'Two'), so now Ryder's age is 'Dude and a half'. Cracks both Ryder and Sierra up every time!
- Ryder loves running, jumping, and climbing on everything.
- Ryder is a happy kid and loves to make people smile and laugh.
- Ryder's favorite activities: cooking in the play kitchen, building towers with blocks, reading books, coloring, riding in his play car, and lots more.
- Ryder's favorite foods: pretzels, grapes, yogurt raisins, chicken, noodles with red sauce, ham, bananas, and peanut butter crackers.
- Ryder is willing to try lots of new foods.
- Ryder is super verbal. He can carry on complete conversations, and even loves talking on the phone.
- Ryder's new favorite word... 'Why'? He asks it about everything!
- Ryder now travels with an entourage - his blanket and binkie - at all times.
- Ryder has no interest (yet) in potty training.
- Ryder sleeps a little over 12 hours at night (6pm - 6:30am), and typically takes a 2 hour nap.
