A Daddy and Daughter Weekend Away

Daddy and Sierra jetted out to Chicago for a great weekend with Babooshka Mila and Dyedooshka Tocik. It was all about love!

They spent the day in downtown Chicago at the Navy Pier, taking in the sights and riding the fun rides.

This was certainly the biggest ferris wheel Sierra has ever been on!

What a fun view!
Tocik and Sierra rode the carousel, and of course Sierra had to ride the zebra - her favorite.

And look...

Who are these crazy creatures??? Oh, right... Daddy and Sierra being silly.

And no day in the city is complete without an authentic Chicago style hot dog!

Back at the house, Sierra spent some time with Uncle David, Aunt Shari and Cousin Cato. Cato is such a good dog, and would even listen to Sierra's commands.

Sierra also got to experience the freedom of running through fallen leaves... something pretty tough to do in the mountains. She loved it!

Time for a little rest in the hammock after such an exciting and busy day.

Look, it's mini-Mila!

And a tired, happy, bubbly Sierra ready for bed.

What a beautiful weekend for some Daddy-Daughter bonding time. Happy 65th birthday, Dyedooshka Tocik!
